Young Hollywood talent Ansel Elgort has always been an impressive talent with a huge future in the business and he has shown just how dedicated he is to his craft with his role in the new movie Baby Driver. For his role in the film, Ansel had to learn sign language and the actor has admitted that he loved every minute of learning the language and never once felt fazed about the process.
During in a recent chat with the guys over at BANG Showbiz, Elgort revealed, "I loved it. [co-star] CJ Jones was incredibly helpful, I really wanted to do it justice. I hate it when Hollywood can step on things that people take very seriously and it's a language and it was really cool, my first ever acting scene in a completely different language."
He then went on to add, "It wasn't easy but it wasn't like, 'Oh, I can't do this' with CJ and the sign language teachers help. I learnt it. It's a dream come true. As a young guy working with Oscar winners, Emmy winners, Grammy winners, it's unbelievable - every young actors dream."
While Ansel Elgort has the lead role in the new movie, the Baby Driver cast does also boast an extremely talented supporting cast, including such fantastic Hollywood talent as Lily James, Sky Ferreira, Kevin Spacey, Jamie Foxx, Eiza Gonzalez, Jon Hamm, and Jon Bernthal, among others. Baby Driver has been written and directed by Edgar Wright and the film is preparing to arrive in theatres on June 28 in both the US and the UK.
