Everybody has to start somewhere and, while there are huge stars all over the planet, they did not just fall into it and they all have a past. Take Justin Vernon for instance, before he became the Grammy Award winning star under the moniker Bon Iver and worked with the likes of Jay-Z, he was working on other musical projects.
There was once a time when Justin Vernon was working with fellow Wisconsin indie rockers Collections of Colonies of Bees going by the name of Volcano Choir and it seems that he has decided to go back to his roots. Volcano Choir released their debut record back in 2009 but things have been a bit quiet since, until now.
Justin Vernon has reformed Volcano Choir and the band are preparing to release their new album in September, which is titled Repave.Volcano Choir have already given fans a taste of their new music, when they released their new single Byegone earlier this week.
With their new album Repave getting its release on September 3, Volcano Choir will hit the road just a few days later, giving a handful of shows to showcase their new record.
Are you looking forward to Volcano Choirs new album and tour?
