There are plenty of comic book fans all over the world who simply just love to see their favourite comic book characters come to life on the big screen, no matter how good or bad the movie actually is, which certainly seems to be more the case with DC movies than Marvel. While the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been getting bigger and better all the time, the DC Extended Universe seems to keep hitting poor form.
The Justice League movie was the latest offering from the DCEU and, while some people have tried to convince themselves that it was a good movie, it really was not and missed the mark on so many levels. However, there is still hope for the DCEU, when it comes to the solo projects that they have to offer.
The Wonder Woman movie was seen as a huge success and showed that Warner Bros. and DC can get it right when it comes to solo films. With that in mind, there is a lot of excitement for the future solo projects, including the planned The Flash movie, which is going to focus on the Flashpoint and has a lot of fans very excited indeed.
Actor Ezra Miller made his first big appearance in the DCEU in the Justice League movie and was actually one of the more solid performers in the film, which has given fans hope that the Flashpoint movie could actually go a long way to helping to restore faith in what Warner Bros. and DC are doing.
It is really going to be interesting to see who they get on board to direct the Flashpoint movie and we still have a long time to wait before it finally hits the big screen, with Warner Bros. and DC aiming for a release some time in 2020.
