Multi millionaire music mogul Simon Cowell has developed a bit of reputation over the years of being a rather mean guy who is not afraid to destroy a person's dreams. While a lot of people fear the power that Simon possesses, there are others that are not afraid to give as much as they get.
Just take former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole for example. Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell became quite close friends while working as judges on the UK version of the hit reality television series The X Factor. Then when Simon decided to try to make the show over in the US, he took Cheryl along with him. Unfortunately things took a turn for the worse, as Cowell decided to fire Cole from the show.
This led to a bit of a public dispute between the two and it looked like their friendship was dead. However, Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole eventually made up and they will both return as judges on The X Factor later in the year. Now, Amanda Holden, who works with Simon on Britain's Got Talent, has praised Cheryl for the way she has dealt with Simon over the years.
While speaking with the guys over at Entertainment Wise, Holden explained, "He likes people who break the rules. I mean, look at Cheryl! She's been outrageous about him and I admire her for it. She's got really big balls that girl, and now she's coming back. So he's always been a rule breaker himself."
Britain's Got Talent will return to television screens on ITV this Saturday at 7:15pm. Meanwhile, The X Factor is still doing open auditions all over the country before the show returns to ITV later in the year.
