One such movie that Philip Seymour Hoffman filmed before he died is the upcoming project God's Pocket, which saw the actor star with the beautiful and talented Christina Hendricks. With God's Pocket being released last week, Christina has been talking about the movie, touching on getting to work with Philip.
Hendricks told Collider, "Yeah. We’ve obviously been grieving, but it doesn’t take away from how special it was, at the time, and how special it is now. The fact that Phil was in it and we got to work with him was extraordinary, and now we have this beautiful finished product that we hope people will still want to see. It’s very special to us."

She added, "You move in and out of the space of, 'Oh, my god, that’s Philip Seymour Hoffman! Oh, my god, that’s Richard Jenkins!' You have these moments, and then you have to stop yourself. Or maybe you don’t even stop yourself, but it just happens. You start the scene and you both just fall into your roles. It becomes very natural."
God's Pocket is directed by John Slattery, based on the screenplay he helped develop with Alex Metcalfe from the Peter Dexter novel. God's Pocket opened in the US last week and is available on VOD as of today.
