Fame and fortune can become too much for a lot of stars and we have seen many people going off the rails over the years, letting their celebrity status get the better of them. There have been so many actors and actresses in Hollywood over the years, who have let drink and drugs get the better of them but, while some of these stars have never been able to get out of the rut, there are others who have changed their life for the better.

Colin Farrell was considered a womaniser
Irish actor Colin Farrell has been in the acting industry for many years now and found himself falling victim to the crazy and wild ways that the celebrity lifestyle has to offer. Colin had a battle with drink and drugs, while developing a reputation as a bit of a womaniser, before fighting back and getting his life on track. The actor has now spoken about his sobriety, admitting that he has also not been on a date with a woman in four years.
Farrell was chatting to Britain's Style magazine, when he said, "I am a good boy these days... My mates take the p**s, but (yoga) works, for mind and body... There is not one (woman) - zilch, nada. I have not dated anyone for, ooh, four years now. It's just not happening, what with the work, the kids and my life. I know it's not what people expect to hear, but that's the honest truth."

Colin Farrell now focuses on his kids
Colin Farrell focuses much more of his spare time on his children these days, spending a lot more time with his 11-year-old son James, who he had with model Kim Bordenave, and five-year old son Henry, who he had with Alicja Bachleda-Curus. It is always nice to see a Hollywood star coming back from the brink of darkness. Well done Colin.
