It is hard to believe that it is 20 years this year that we first got to lay our eyes on the British girl group the Spice Girls, who went on to become the biggest girl group of all time. With the 20th anniversary celebrations planned, there has been a lot of talk about the girls getting back together for another reunion.
However, it was then suggested that Victoria Beckham was not interested in a Spice Girls reunion, which led to Mel C to say that she would not do it unless Victoria did it. Well, it now seems that David Beckham has managed to talk his wife into doing the Spice Girls reunion and things are now good to go.
A supposed source was chatting the the British edition of Closer magazine, when they explained, "There are still lots of details to sort out, but Victoria's said she'll perform with the girls."
The added, "However she (got) stressed (about it) and needed to focus on David and the kids after a stressful 2015 of trying to juggle work and family life, so committing to all the dates would be too much."
The insider continued, "David was the one who helped change her mind about the tour and they came up with a compromise. They've already booked two mini-breaks for next month (Feb16) and are spending much more time alone together so they won't get complacent."
It will be interesting to see whether Victoria Beckham does actually agree to do the Spice Girls reunion or whether she will leave fans around the world disappointed. Watch this space!
