When it comes to picking certain stars to be coaches on television shows, The Voice Kids Australia certainly got it right when they chose Australian singer Delta Goodrem, as the talented beauty has been in the entertainment industry since she was just a kid herself. Delta received her first record deal when she was just 15 years old, so she certainly knows what the industry is all about.
Delta Goodrem will be joined on The Voice Kids Australia by fellow coaches Benji Madden, Joel Madden and Mel B, and she has developed quite a strong bond with one of them. Delta has opened up about working alongside Mel B on The Voice Kids Australia, having some very kind words to say about the former Spice Girls star.
Goodrem explained, "I had never met Mel before. I didn't know what to expect. And I have to tell you, I really love her to bits. She has been such a breath of fresh feminine energy for me. She's just a really cool, hard-working mum who has been in one of the biggest girl bands of all time, if not the biggest girl band of all time."
She added, "I grew up with her, I had a Spice Girls pencil case. I had everything Spice Girls. But then to know that she was just as much 'Girl Power' as they said was really cool. I'll never reveal my favourite Spice Girl! She's definitely my favourite Spice Girl now. We hang out too now."
It is the first ever season of The Voice Kids Australia, which is strictly for people aged eight to 14.
