Out of all the new shows that NBC is offering, 'Crisis' is definitely one of the more intriguing. The premise of the show is that the children of foreign dignitaries and state officials [including the President] have been kidnapped on a school trip, causing an international crisis.

Dermot Mulroney stars in NBC's Crisis
According to the synopsis [via IMDB], the main focus will be, "on an idealistic Secret Service agent who finds himself at the center of an international crisis on his first day on the job. In his search for the truth, he will have to cross moral and legal lines as he navigates the highest levels of power and corruption."
Dermot Mulroney stars as this Secret Service agent, with Rachel Taylor and Gillian Anderson also co-starring. The trailer for the show does a good job of introducing the storyline without going overboard, and it manages to fit in all the characters present in the show. On the one hand, there are all the school kids and teachers that are in custody of the criminals [including One Tree Hill alum James Lafferty], and on the other hand, there are Secret Service and CIA agents trying to solve this crisis.

Rachael Taylor also stars alongside Dermot Mulroney in 'Crisis'
In addition to Dermot Mulroney, Gillian Anderson, James Lafferty and Rachael Taylor, 'Crisis' also stars Lance Gross, Stevie Lynn Jones, Halston Sage, Joshua Erenberg, Max Schneider, and Max Martini.
