Forget True Detective Hbos New Show Ballers Featuring The Rock Looks Like The Hit Of The Summer
There was once a time that people would frown upon the idea of a professional wrestling star trying his hand at acting, with a number of poor attempts over the decades. However, over the past few years WWE star The Rock has gone on to prove himself as a talented actor, with Dwayne Johnson landing a number of interesting and exciting roles along the way.
Dwayne Johnson is enjoying movie success

Dwayne Johnson already has a huge amount of movie projects lined up for the coming years and it looks like he has now added another new and exciting project to the list. It has been confirmed that Dwayne will star in the lead role, for the big screen adaptation of the hit 1980s video game Rampage, which is looking to go into production next year.

The Rampage game focused on three nasty beasts, which started out as humans but then transformed into a lizard, a gorilla and a wolf, following scientific experiments on them. These three creatures then went on to wreak havoc all over the US, destroying cities all over the country. It will be the job of Dwayne Johnson's character to stop the creatures.
