British music superstar Ed Sheeran has been one of the biggest music acts in the world for quite a few years now and every single time he releases a new album, you can pretty much guarantee that it will become a huge success. Ed become a global superstar thanks to the success of his first album, with his second album continuing that trend, with fans always eager for more new music from him.
In the build up to the release of his third album, there were some who questioned whether Ed Sheeran could continue his great run but the musician was once again successful, this time bigger than ever, having nine songs in the Top 10 singles chart at one time. Ed has now opened up about having such huge success from one album, admitting that he was very shocked to see it happen.
Sheeran was talking to The Sun newspaper, when he remarked to them, "I think it's an anomaly that will happen every now and then. I don't think they need to change anything. It hasn't happened since then and it will probably happen when Taylor Swift puts out an album. And probably with Adele, Eminem and Bieber. Maybe you should nominate what singles off your album should be eligible - that's the way it should happen."
We expect that there will be a bit of a gap before we get another new album from Ed Sheeran but you would have to be a fool to question the success of his fourth studio album when it does eventually arrive.
