The article compares her to Kate Winslet, describing how they were both at the same stage in Hollywood at one point. However, Winslet has apparently embraced her stardom and celebrity whereas Watson has chosen to live away from the limelight. Watson reveals that she actually thought of moving to LA at one point, explaining, "There was a point where I was thinking about moving to LA. I physically enjoy the place. But it’s the mental life — you have to negotiate living there. I just don’t think I have the equipment to deal with it.”
She also talks about how her family dictates the roles she takes and the choices she makes now, explaining, "My career is totally controlled by that. It’s a huge part of my decision-making process. Where is it? How long? And how much? Because if it’s independent, low budget, no money, eight weeks, fantastic script — sorry. It has to be worth my while — leaving for that long. To keep everybody in nannies and school fees.”
