Fans of the Goodie Mob as a whole or each of the individual members, were delighted to learn that they had all decided to come back together and record a brand new album. While fans are excited about the new Goodie Mob album, there is some disappointing news about the record.
Cee Lo Green has revealed how Goodie Mob almost got Eminem to collaborate on the track White Power, which features on the album. He explained, "I could've sworn Eminem would've done this song with me." However, Cee Lo believes that Eminem's new-found Christian status may have played a part in his decision.
Green added, "I thought he would eat the controversy up, but it was kind of hard for me to address it as a white rapper, me being black. But my black perspective on white power was my relationship with him."
Goodie Mob's new album Age Against the Machine is set to be released on August 27. The group, which is made up of Cee Lo Green, Big Gipp, Khujo and T-Mo, recently revealed the album cover for the upcoming record.
