When it was announced that Zayn Malik has decided to quit the British boyband One Direction, it sent shockwaves around the world, with many assuming that this would be the beginning of the end for the group. Fortunately though, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan have decided to carry on as a four-piece, which has pleased many of the worried fans.
While some people have been suggesting that it is only a matter of time before One Direction split, it actually looks like things are going quite well. Harry Styles has now been speaking about what the future holds for One Direction and, from the sounds of things, everything is rosy and looking very promising.
Styles told Ryan Seacrest, "We have the album and the tour that we're working on right now. And I think, when you have so many goals that you feel you have yet to achieve, it's kind of hard to see past those. I think it's important to focus on what's going on and don't lose track."
He added, "We're all working toward the same thing right now, and I don't think we're thinking much past that. We're all very excited. It's exciting to have the opportunity to do any album, so being on the fifth one is really amazing for us. We're just about to start touring again, which we love, so it's going great right now. Morale is good."
We look forward to hearing the first album from One Direction as a four-piece and we have no doubt that it will be just as impressive as ever, even without Zayn Malik. Good luck guys!
