Right now, One Direction still remains wildly successful as a boyband, with international fame and success. However, whether in a few years or in ten, the band will no doubt go their separate ways. In that scenario, many people have wondered who the most successful member of the band would be when that happens, and the conclusion has often been Harry Styles, a la Justin Timberlake after Backstreet Boys. 
Is Harry Styles going solo?
The Sunday Mirror [via the Daily Mail] reports that Styles is already recording his own singles, and has plans to come out with a solo album in the future.
The report adds that Styles has been in LA recently to record the singles at the Paramount recording studio. The band is rumored to be on a break right now from their worldwide tour, and he was said to be in LA during that time. A source told the Mirror, "He loves messing around with some of the new songs he’s been working on. He’s bounced some ideas off his friend Ed Sheeran and has already laid down some vocals." The source adds, "Harry’s priority is obviously still with 1D. But when he decides the time to go solo has arrived, he’s likely to have a project raring to go."
