The Marvel Cinematic Universe is bigger and better than it has ever been and, while most of the talk is about the big name characters in the movies, the smaller roles still have a big part to play in the films. Actress Jaimie Alexander plays the role of Lady Sif in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and she will next appear on the big screen in Thor: Ragnarok.
With Thor: Ragnarok not due for release until 2017, we still have quite a long wait for the film but Jaimie Alexander has teased what fans can expect from her character in the movie. Jaimie says that she will have a very important role in Thor: Ragnarok, although she could not go into too much detail about it.
Alexander was chatting to Hero Complex, when she told them, "Marvel, I think on purpose, they don’t tell me certain things. Because they know I’ll be like, 'So here's what's gonna happen.' But I do know I will be in Thor 3 and that Sif will have a very pivotal part in that movie. I just can’t tell you what because I’ll get shot."
As well as talking about what sort of an impact her character will have in Thor: Ragnarok, Jaimie Alexander also went on to talk about how Captain America: Civil War would set up for the new movie. Jaimie says that Captain America: Civil War will have a few teasers for Thor: Ragnarok and that you will notice them if you look closely.
She added, "Yeah, there’s a lot of great stuff they’ve peppered in through Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Avengers, Captain will have some stuff. There's just all kind of Easter eggs and hints, if you’re really paying attention. They’re so good at interweaving everything throughout those films."
Captain America: Civil War will open on April 29, 2016 in the UK and May 6, 2016 in the US, while Thor: Ragnarok will hit the big screen on October 27, 2017 in the UK and November 3, 2017 in the US.
