It seems that ever star in the acting industry seems to have a different opinion on what it is like to be one of the biggest stars in the business and, while some of the top names in Hollywood do find it very hard in the acting game, there are others who feel that acting is relatively easy.
One such Hollywood actor who finds the whole acting thing to be easier than most, is the Oscar-nominated actor Jake Gyllenhaal, who has admitted that he does not find acting difficult. Jake, who stars in the new, upcoming movie Southpaw, says that he likes prepare for a role as much as possible but that it is all just a part of the job.
Gyllenhaal was chatting to the guys over at Time Out magazine, when he explained to them, "I would never call acting difficult: it's just not comparable to difficult things in the world. There's a history to cinema and to film that is to be respected. But it's all within the realm of sanity."
He added, "It's always a challenge, but sometimes it can become absurd! I'm not sharp enough to just show up and deliver. It takes a lot of preparation. I'll take anything I can get in order to fill out a character, along with classical technique."
Jake Gyllenhaal can next be seen on the big screen in the new movie Southpaw, which is set to open on July 24 in both the US and the UK. For now though, why not take a look at the Southpaw trailer, below and decide if it is your thing.
