Young and talented actress Quvenzhane Wallis has already enjoyed huge success in her relatively short acting career, landing a Best Leading Actress Oscar nomination for her role in the movie Beasts of the Southern Wild, when she was just 9 years old. Quvenzhane now plays the lead role in the Annie remake, starring alongside superstar Jamie Foxx, and Jamie has had nothing but kind words to say about Wallis.

Foxx praised, "She brought so much talent and charisma to set that it really allowed me to get lost in the story of these two characters who are trying to navigate their lives in New York City. Quvenzhané was made to play this role. I'm convinced it was in her DNA."
Meanwhile, Quvenzhane Wallis herself went on to talk about her career, which has reached heights that most stars only dream of, despite the fact that she is still only 11 years old. Quvenzhane says that she is just enjoying being young and having fun and does not want to have to grow up and become too serious any time soon.

Wallis told Elle, "I feel like I'm five sometimes, because I still enjoy myself. I enjoy what I do. I don't want to grow up, but I know it's not going to last much longer. I just keep doing what I'm doing and don't ever give up. That's what I like about Annie. If she has goals, she'll finish them, like me. We're both confident."
As well as starring Quvenzhane Wallis and Jamie Foxx, the cast of Annie also includes Cameron Diaz, Rose Byrne, Rihanna, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, among many more. Annie is directed by Will Gluck and will hit the big screen on December 19 in the US and on December 20 in the UK.
