Hollywood director Francis Lawrence has been working on The Hunger Games movies for the past few years now and he has spoken about the changes that he has seen in the actress Jennifer Lawrence. Francis says that he noticed the biggest change come when Jennifer won the Oscar for her performance in the movie Silver Linings Playbook, which saw the actress becoming a bit more closed off to the world.

Jennifer Lawrence is Katniss Everdeen
Francis was chatting to MTV News recently, when he explained to them, "It’s hard to see the changes when you’re with somebody every day. I think the biggest change is just that around the time we were making ’Catching Fire’… there was kind of another explosion for her."
He added, "She was obviously already an important actress, and a very popular actress, and known, but something kind of shifted and exploded in a new way, and I think made life a little tougher for her. I saw that. I saw her sort of close off to the outside world a little bit, in a way that people with that kind of attention sometimes have to do."

Jennifer Lawrence has changed slightly since her Oscar win
We will see Jennifer Lawrence back on the big screen in her role as Katniss Everdeen for one last time, when the final instalment of The Hunger Games movie franchise opens this year. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 will also see Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark, and Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorn, when the film hits the big screen November 20 in both the US and the UK. We cannot wait.
