Love is a very complicated thing and, while there are some people who truly believe in true love and are never going to give up searching for "The One", there are others who feel that love is just a term that is thrown around all too easily these days. Some people are fortunate to meet the person they are going to spend the rest of their life with at a young age, while others have to endure a string of failed relationships.

American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez has been in the entertainment industry for decades now, experiencing success in all areas of her career but she has failed to have the same success in her love life. Jennifer has had failed marriages to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd and Marc Anthony, while she most recently split from her boyfriend Casper Smart but, while she has admitted that breakups are always painful, she also says that she has not given up on love.
Lopez told Elle magazine, "Everybody has seen that I make mistakes. I rush in, I get swept up and I ignore the signs. But so many of us are guilty of these things. Each time it goes wrong, it's hard. I get really hurt but I have to let myself go, 'What did I do? What can I learn?' And as hard and as hurtful as things get, I want to believe I will be able to go one step higher."

She added, "I've got to hope that if I keep going I will eventually get it right. I still believe in love. The nirvana man, he's out there somewhere. But you just have to work at it. You have to work at everything. I like being in a relationship. I'm not one to like wh**e around and stuff like that - that's not my thing."
