There were a lot of very disappointed and disgruntled comic book fans around the world, when it was announced that Hollywood actor Jesse Eisenberg had been cast to play the role of Lex Luthor in the movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. While some of these fans have been won over by the actor over the past few months, there are others who just cannot buy into Jesse as the character.
Now, following his appearance at the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice panel at Comic-Con, it seems that Jesse Eisenberg might just have lost a few more fans, following his comments about his experience there. While we are convinced that what Jesse was saying was a joke, the actor did compare the event to genocide, which has not sat well with a lot of the comic book fans.
Eisenberg was doing a recent interview, when he explained, "It is like being screamed at by thousands of people. I don't know what the experience is throughout history, probably some kind of genocide. I can't think of anything that's equivalent." Again, to us that just seems like his way of trying to be funny and people should not take his comments so seriously.
As for the movie, we still have a long wait yet before it finally hits the big screen, with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice scheduled for release on March 25, 2016 in both the US and the UK, we cannot wait. For now though, check out the latest Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer, below. It will blow your mind!
