We have definitely enjoyed watching the rise of the acting career of Jessica Chastain over the years, as she has taken on so many interesting and exciting acting roles in her career to date, giving us some fantastic performances along the way, showing just what a talented actress she truly is. So we were disappointed to hear that Jessica is considering taking a bit of a break from acting for a while, to spend so much deserved relaxation time with her boyfriend Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo.
Chastain was chatting to Net-A-Porter's The Edit magazine, when she told them, "I feel like something's happening. I feel like a change will soon happen in my life. Maybe I won't act for a few years. I'm happy, I'm content, but I could do something else for a bit. I want people to be more interested in my work than my personal life."
She added, "I want to disappear into the characters I'm playing and not have the audience say, 'Oh, she's going through a divorce right now.' I have two weeks off from filming and we're just going to go to Italy, drink wine, eat pasta and sleep all the time. Heaven."
For now though, we still have plenty of Jessica Chastain left to enjoy, as the actress has a number of new movie projects coming our way over the course of the next couple of years. We will next see Jessica starring on the big screen in the new movie The Zookeeper's Wife, which is set to hit the big screen on March 31, 2017 in the US, before then going on to open on the UK on May 5, 2017. Let's enjoy Jessica Chastain while we still can.
