The Fast and Furious franchise has been hugely successful over the past 15 years and, while there had been some suggestions that the franchise would come to an end after Furious 7, it seems that we are definitely going to get an eighth instalment of the franchise. That means we will get to see Jordana Brewster back on the big screen, reprising her role as Mia Toretto for the next movie.

Jordana Brewster plays Mia in the franchise
Jordana Brewster has recently been speaking about her early days in the Fast and Furious franchise, which saw the actress taking on the role for the first time way back in 2001 but it seems that she almost missed out on the role. Jordana has revealed how she did not have a driving license when she went for the role and had no idea how to drive, so had to quickly learn and pass her driving test to land the role.
Brewster explained, "I was a New Yorker; riding the subway, taking buses. I had no need. I had two weeks to get my license. I sort of tried to charm my way in and got my license." Meanwhile, Jordana Brewster also went on to talk about the reaction and success of the new movie Furious 7, which has managed to gross $1.18bn worldwide. She added, "The response to the film has been so amazing."

Will Jordana Brewster return for the eighth instalment?
Following the announcement by Vin Diesel that the Fast and Furious franchise will continue on with an eighth instalment, it will be interesting to see which stars will return for the film, as it was claimed that a lot of the stars were out of contract. We guess we will have to wait and see.
