Kareena Kapoor is being mentioned as the leading contender to play Sangeeta Bijlani in the biopic "Azharuddin" which revolves around the story of the Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin but the screen demands of the Bollywood beauty have some thinking she will not be able to be part of the movie.

A source close to Kareena Kapoor has stated that her becoming part of the film is dependent on how much space in the script is provided for the female protagonist as she is not interested in playing a supporting female lead.
Has the Bollywood actress become spoiled to the point that she thinks that because some filmmakers have rewritten scripts to 'appease' her that director Tony d'Souza will rewrite the script so that she will have almost the same screen time as the protagonist of the film Emraan Hashm who will play the role of the star Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin?

There are reports that in Kabir Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" she is featured in almost every frame with Salman Khan and as such it is likely that this past success is influencing her decision about whether to accept the role. She is interested in acting in the biopic because she has not been part of one in her career but she is not going to make a decision until she returns from her annual vacation in Gstaad, Switzerland and meets with director Tony d'Souza to hear the script.
She is one of Bollywood's top stars which provides her certain benefits but her desire for more screen space could 'backfire' and result in directors beginning to look at other 'actors' for their projects. Directors in Bollywood similar to her did not achieve their positions just by luck and as much as they enjoy having star actors for their projects they are not averse to looking at other actors if they feel one's demands for screen time are 'out of line'.
The Bollywood 'meeting' of the year in 2015 might be in January and it could have ramifications that are felt throughout the film industry but can one or should expect anything less when Kareena Kapoor is involved?
