The career of Kate Upton has been a very impressive one to date so far, with the stunning American beauty going on to become one of the biggest stars on the face of the Earth and arguably the biggest model in the business. However, of late, Kate Upton has been trying to make a name for herself in the movie industry, landing her biggest role to date in the movie The Other Woman, which hit the big screen earlier this year.
While Kate Upton is still considered one of the biggest models on the planet and is still taking on plenty of big modelling work, it seems that she has made her biggest statement to date, to suggest that she is going to focus more of her efforts on her acting career. It has been reported that Kate Upton has decided to part company with her modelling agency IMG, in favour of joining William Morris Endeavor talent agency.
In joining William Morris Endeavor talent agency, Kate Upton will join up with the talent agent Rick Yorn, who is a renowned Hollywood agent, who has been responsible for representing a number of Hollywood stars, including Kate's The Other Woman co-star Cameron Diaz, among others. The split with IMG ends a six-year relationship, which has seen Kate become one of the highest earning models around.
While Kate Upton has left IMG in favour of William Morris Endeavor, it is not too big a move, as WME bought IMG earlier in the year. A representative for WME said, "We’re proud to represent Kate and happy she chose to stay within the WME family for her representation."
We expect we will see a lot more of Kate Upton on the big screen in the coming years.
