Irish actress Katie McGrath has enjoyed a steady rise in the acting industry over the years and she has become one of those few stars who have made the move over to the US and managed to enjoy her fair share of success in Hollywood. Katie has appeared on a string of television shows over the years, while she has also appeared in plenty of big screen movies along the way.
It seems that there is one genre that Katie McGrath seems to have a lot of affection for, which is very understandable. Katie rose to stardom and became a household name, thanks to her performances in the role of Morgana in the hit television series Merlin. Now, four years after she last appeared in the show, McGrath is returning to that world, but this time on a larger scale.
Katie McGrath will appear on the big screen in the new Guy Ritchie movie Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur, where she will take on the role of Elsa. While it is not the same project and she is not playing the same character, we are sure that Katie will feel right at home working on the new movie.
As well as starring Katie McGrath, the cast of Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur also includes the likes of Djimon Hounsou, Annabelle Wallis, Eric Bana, Charlie Hunnam, Jude Law, Eline Powell, and Aidan Gillen, among others. Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur is directed by Guy Ritchie, based on the screenplay developed by Joby Harold, with the movie set to hit the big screen on March 24, 2017 in both the US and the UK.
