While it is fair to say that Warner Bros. and DC have been getting things very wrong so far with the DC Extended Universe, it is also fair to say that they still have some of the best characters to ever appear in the history of comic books. Fans around the world are still hopeful that they can turn things around and get things right, which is no more than these legendary characters deserve.
There has been a lot of talk about which characters we are going to see joining the DC Extended Universe in the coming years, with fans calling for more strong female characters joining the DCEU, especially with some many interesting and exciting female characters still available. One such character is the classic DC comic book villain Poison Ivy, who many are keen to see hitting the big screen.
There has been a lot of talk about a potential Gotham City Sirens movie, which could see Poison Ivy making her debut in the DC Extended Universe, while others have suggested that she could turn up in The Batman movie. We have enjoyed watching the rise of 23-year-old Maddie Hasson for the past few years now and we have no doubt that she has what it takes to impress in the role of Poison Ivy. Maddie has bags of acting talent and she has the looks to go with it, and we believe that playing such a huge role would only bring out the best in her. For now though, we will just have to wait and see.
