The whole world is still coming to terms with the fact that Donald Trump is the new President of America, with millions of people around the world giving their views on what they are expecting to happen under his leadership. There have been many stars who have voiced their concerns and their disapproval, including music superstar Madonna, who even urged someone to blow up the White House.

Since making the unprofessional and ill advised comments, Madonna has since come out to try to explain what she actually meant by them, while Cyndi Lauper has given her views on what Madonna had to say. Cyndi says that, while it was good to see such a high profile star at the march, she feels that Madonna stirred up a lot of unnecessary anger and emotions among protesters.
Lauper was a guest on Watch What Happens Live, when she said, "I was glad that she went. I think it happens a lot when you are really jacked up, feeling your emotions. I don't think it served our purpose because anger is not better than clarity and humanity."

However, Cyndi Lauper had much kinder words for Hollywood superstar Scarlett Johansson, adding, "She shared her story. It was clear and it was eloquent. Yelling doesn't (help). It just jacks people up but it doesn't communicate any type of humanity or any kind of story that would open another person's mind."
It will be interesting to see whether Madonna has a response for Cyndi Lauper or whether she will just leave it as it is.
