There have been a lot of very upset and disappointed fans around the world today, as it was revealed that the British boyband One Direction are going to take a break at some point during 2016. This has led to many to believe that this means the biggest boyband to ever grace the music industry are actually going to split for good.
Many people have already started to suggest what we are going to see the One Direction boys doing next, insisting that the One Direction split will be for good and that we will not see a reunion for many years to come. However, Irish star Niall Horan has spoken out to ease fans fears, insisting that it is just a temporary break and that the One Direction split is not permanent.
Horan took to his official Twitter account, to tell his fans and followers, WOk so Lots of rumours going round. We are not splitting up, but we will be taking a well earned break at some point next year. Don't worry though, we still have lots to achieve! Can't wait for you to hear all the new music we have for you and to perform some new songs as the tour continues! Love you all xx!"
It is definitely nice to get such reassurance from one of the boys themselves and, while Niall Horan has made it clear that One Direction have not split up, there are still those who are sure that this is the end for the boyband. We guess we will just have to wait and seen.
Do you think this is going to be the end of One Direction?
