We have been getting quite a fair amount of news about the planned movie Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Lies, with plenty of rumours still doing the rounds too. As well as getting some potential casting news just recently, with talk of British actress Kaya Scodelario joining the cast, there is still some uncertainty around Orlando Bloom's involvement.

Orlando Bloom plays Will Turner in the films
It had been rumoured a while back, that we would see Orlando Bloom returning to the franchise to reprise his role as Will Turner but it looks like it has not yet been made official. Bloom has been promoting new movie The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, when he touched on Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Lies, claiming that talks were still ongoing about his possible return.
Bloom revealed, "I’m not entirely sure that [I'll be back] just yet, but there are talks. Basically they want to reboot the whole franchise, I think, and do something with me and the relationship with my son. I’m of course Davey Jones now, so I’m down the bottom of the ocean. It might be kind of fun to do something where I’m rumbling round the bottom of the ocean, because I won’t look anything like me. [Gestures to face] Get all gnarly."

Orlando Bloom could return
While there are a lot of rumoured castings for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Lies, we do know that Johnny Depp will be back as Captain Jack Sparrow, with Brenton Thwaites joining the cast of the film. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Lies will go into production in February 2015, with a scheduled release date of July 7, 2017 in both the US and the UK.
