It's been more than a month since Paris Jackson tried to commit suicide and was quickly rushed to the hospital. She has reportedly been under psychiatric evaluation since then, but according to new reports, she was finally released on Tuesday.
People reports that Paris checked out of the UCLA Medical center early Tuesday. According to sources, Paris won't really be coming home but rather heading to a 'undisclosed facility for long-term treatment'.
Previous reports and sources had confirmed that Paris' condition was serious enough that doctors had recommended an in-patient care center and extended treatment program. Earlier last month, Paris had actually tried to transfer to a center out of LA, but her request had reportedly been denied because the center didn't want major paparazzi attention. So while Paris will be heading to an 'undisclosed facility', I doubt we will find out what that facility is. Paris' family seems to have learned their lesson and they are keeping her away from the media and public attention.
Hopefully, she will get the help she needs, away from all the negative influences in Los Angeles. Considering that Michael Jackson's wrongful death trial is still ongoing in LA, it was probably best for her to stay shielded from all the press for an extended period of time.
