Hollywood actress Rachel McAdams is already considered one of the biggest and most sought after actresses in the industry right now, so it is no surprise that the talented beauty is finding herself landing more and more work. With 2015 just around the corner, it seems that next year could be the biggest year of her career, with a whole host of interesting projects expected for release.
As most of you will already be well aware, Rachel McAdams has been cast in the role of Sheriff Ani Bezzerides in the hit HBO series True Detective, which will return for its second season in 2015. As well as bringing her acting talents to the small screen, Rachel also has plenty of movies set to hit the big screen in 2015.
Rachel McAdams will star in the movie Southpaw, alongside Jake Gyllenhaal, Naomie Harris, Forest Whittaker, Rita Ora, and 50 Cent, among others. Southpaw is directed by Antoine Fuqua, from the Kurt Sutter screenplay, with the movie set to open in 2015. As well as that, we will also see Rachel in the animated movie The Little Prince, which also features the voices of James Franco, Marion Cotillard, Jeff Bridges, and Mackenzie Foy.
Still not finished, Rachel McAdams stars alongside Mark Ruffalo, Michael Keaton, Billy Crudup, and Stanley Tucci, in the movie Spotlight, which is directed by Thomas McCarthy from the screenplay he developed with Josh Singer. Rachel will then appear in the movie Every Thing Will Be Fine, with James Franco and Charlotte Gainsbourg. Finally there is the untitled Cameron Crowe project, which co-stars Emma Stone, Bradley Cooper, Jay Baruchel, and Bill Murray, with a release date set for May 29, 2015 in the US and June 5, 2015 in the UK.
So it is pretty clear to see that Rachel McAdams already has a very busy schedule in place for 2015 and we cannot wait to see what she brings to each and every one of these projects.
