Robert Pattinson has been promoting his ad for Dior, and in an interview with Le Figaro, he discusses his love for French women and his distaste for the paparazzi.
When discussing women, he explains his love for French women, saying, "They are amazing. When you arrive in Paris, it is the first thing you see. I think Paris and New York are the two cities where the women are more beautiful than anywhere else. They are more confident of themselves, of their personalities but also of their looks. They are elegant and have a natural grace.”
He also explains why he still drives a second-hand Silverado truck when he could drive a Porsche or a Jaguar, and he explains, "I love the second-hand truck, you can drive many people and nobody dares to come close to me. Sometimes, paparazzi chase me. With a beautiful car, they could block me. But when they see my Silverado, they know that I can bump into them! It may seem curious but I don’t like being photographed and being followed. So I only go where I know it won’t happen even if it comes to only five places in LA.”
Well, since Rob is actually spotted quite often at Chateau Marmont, which is often crawling with paparazzi, I wouldn't exactly say he goes out of his way to avoid the paps. However, unlike many other young stars these days, he genuinely seems to hate being photographed, so I can see him trying his very best to blend in - including driving around a second-hand truck. However, since he does discuss his love for French and New York women, is he actively trying to put out a message that he's over Kristen Stewart? Let us know what you think in the comments.
