Irish actress Saoirse Ronan has been in the acting industry since she was a very young girl and she has spent a lot of her life just living out of her suitcase, as she chased her dream of becoming a top Hollywood star. Saoirse has managed to make the successful transition from child star to grown up actress and often finds herself being linked to the big Hollywood roles.

For the past year or so, Saoirse Ronan has been spending her time living in the UK, in London but it seems like the 20-year-old actress is looking to make the move to the US in the future. Saoirse has admitted that, while there are certain places in the US that she is not a big fan of, she would love to one day find herself living in New York.
While talking about her likes and dislikes of the US, Ronan said, "I would absolutely move to America. I quite like LA apart from Beverly Hills, I don’t get that place at all. But every where else I really like. I think with LA in particular there is a lot of LA bashing a lot of people say ‘Oh I hate LA it’s so fake and so pretentious.’"

She then added, "But I am completely and utterly in love with New York and always have been and probably always will be. I would love to live there one day, and that’s kind of hopefully something that would be in the near future for me. It’s always been inevitable that I would spend a lot of time there."
As far as her acting career is concerned, Saoirse Ronan will appear in the Ryan Gosling directorial debut Lost River, which also stars Christina Hendricks Eva Mendes, Matt Smith, Ian De Caestecker, and Ben Mendelsohn, among others. Lost River will open on limited release in the US in April, while opening nationwide in the UK on April 24.
