Tatyana Ali is known to fans from her early beginnings as an actress when she was the scene stealing little girl on "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" but now she is seen as a grown woman and rising star on the Hollywood landscape.
Early in her career she notes that she did not have the confidence to say 'no' to a role which is understandable because she like many other actresses was motivated to prove herself and show her acting abilities. However, as her career has moved forward and she has become more confident in her acting as an adult she has become more comfortable in turning down roles in projects.
Saying no to a role in Hollywood is not easy for anyone but she is very confident in her abilities as an actress and she believes it is evident in both the projects she takes on and her performances.
In her interview with the Chicago Defender she revealed that the roles that attract her are those the tell stories that reveal truths about life. For some entertainment observers this reads like code word for roles with substance that will require her to dig deep as an actress and show her dramatic range and for fans it brings a smile to their faces because they know that within this actress is a dramatic range that has not yet been fully explored or revealed.
Her next project which is starting to generate some conversation on social media is "November Rule", a romantic comedy in which she plays the love interest of the protagonist, a shoe entrepreneur who is still struggling with the loss of his Dad and thus creates a rule that enables him to avoid dealing with the intimacy of the holidays.
Tatyana Ali's acting career is on the rise and considering how great she looked in the recent John Legend music video "You and I" it is going to keep moving upwards and she will continue to impress fans.
