The title of the latest album of Taylor Momsen's rock band "The Pretty Reckless" is "Going To Hell" and she has connected with music fans in a major way. The "Going To Hell" album debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard Top 200 and the video for the album's first single "Heaven Knows" has been viewed by fans more than 10 million times on YouTube.
Many actresses claim to be musicians but it is obvious both from her comments and her success that acting truly was for her a 'day job' likely necessary to get the attention and finances necessary to pursue her true love.
In a recent interview with MTV she disclosed that acting was not in her long-term plans but she is not discounting her experience as an actress and thinks it would be crazy to try and plan out her long term future. The gorgeous singer who could walk the runway of any fashion show and has become the wallpaper of many male rock 'n' roll fans disclosed that she is influenced by the music of Kurt Cobain and Joan Jett but to her fans she and "The Pretty Reckless" have a sound and style that is all their own and has made them one of the hottest rock 'n' roll groups on the Billboard charts and one with great potential to be stars for a very long time.
