The Vaccines frontman Justin Young has praised British boyband One Direction for their creativity. Justin worked with One Direction on some songs for their next album and he claims that the boys are actually a lot more creative than many people give them credit for.
Young told Digital Spy, "It was great. I'm a big fan of pop music and the art of songwriting. It was a really fulfilling experience. They're really nice guys and more creative than many people would probably believe. I genuinely don't know if [they will use my songs] and I genuinely don't care. That's not why I did it. I saw it as an artistic opportunity as well as a monetary one!"
Justin also spoke about The Vaccines new album, adding, "We don't wanna make the same record twice, which is easier said than done. We didn't change the way we write but we did change the way the song came together. We've only ever made live records so we never placed any importance on production."
We might have to wait for quite some time before we get a new One Direction album, as the boys are very busy. They are currently on their World tour and have their 3D movie This Is Us out in August. Meanwhile, Simon Cowell wants to give One Direction a break next year, to avoid them burning out.
