Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy actor Tom Hardy was at the premiere of his latest movie This Means War recently and as you could have guessed, he was asked a number of questions regarding his role as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises. One particular question was regarding Bane’s mask, which Tom claims was very tight, although he did get used to it in time.
Hardy explained, “Bane’s mask is tight. I got used to it, but you get used to anything really in time”. Tom also talked about how he got into character for the role of Bane. He added, "I didn't get into a dark place at all. A lot of dark characters are easy to have distance from, it's something I feel comfortable with, I suppose."
You can see Tom Hardy in This Means War, which is released to both the US and the UK on February 14. As for The Dark Knight Rises, we still have another five months to wait until we get to see it, as it is released on July 20 in both the US and the UK.
