Tricia Helfer, 41, has joined the cast of the second season of the hit series, Powers. Helfer will appear in the show in a recurring role and will portray Lange who is an FBI special agent. Powers is based on the graphic novel series and will center around two homicide detectives, Sharlto Copley and Christian Walker, who investigate various cases that involve people who have exceptional powers.
Season two of the series will focus on the shocking and mysterious murder of superhero Michelle Forbes. Tricia's character, Lange, will stir the waters and will stir up trouble for the two homicide detectives as they investigates an unravel the mystery of Michelle's death. Lange will be both an ally and enemy and also has a history with Detective Walker who is involved with Copley.
This storyline will make for interesting television and will be sure to keep the fans watching and wanting more. Helfer, is best known for her role in the hit reboot television series Battlestar Galactica. She played the role of a humanoid named Cylon Number Six. Tricia also starred in the ABC series Killer Women and in the Syfy channels miniseries Ascension.
Some of her other projects include the series TRON: Uprising and The Firm, and Suits that aired on the USA network. The talented and versatile Canadian beauty has also done voice-over work for several video games that include Halo, Star Craft and Mass Effect. Production of Powers began last week in Atlanta and will debut on the Playstation Network next year.
