New York Knicks center Tyson Chandler admitted in the exit interview that he was sick during the entire Playoffs. Chandler explained how he was battling a strained neck injury, which was a well known issue even before he said it. But he also revealed how he was battling a strep throat during the entire Knicks' Playoff run as well as a unusual loss of weight which didn't allow him to perform at his best, especially in the second round against the Indiana Pacers.

Chandler had a number of injuries during the postseason
One of the main reasons the Knicks lost to the Pacers was because of Roy Hibbert who did pretty well against a injury plagued Tyson Chandler. The Knicks center couldn't tell the exact timetable of the strep throat but he was pretty sure it started before the playoffs and that he caught it from his daughter.
Chandler's numbers suffered quite heavily in the postseason and it was pretty clear something was wrong with the Knicks bigman. His points per game production was cut in half as compared to the regular season. It went from 10.4 points per game to only 5.7 points per game in the Playoffs. His rebounds per game also dropped from 10.7 in the regular season to just 7.3 in the Playoffs.
