Wayne’s World actor Dana Carvey, who played Garth Algar in the hit movies, has revealed that he would be more than happy to reprise his character for a third instalment of the hit movie. Dana claimed that if they were to make a Wayne’s World 3 and they wanted him to be a part of it, then he would jump at the chance to be involved in the project.
Carvey, who is current in New York City where he is co hosting an episode of Live with Kelly, was approached by a reporter who ask the actor if he would ever be interested in making Wayne’s World 3. Dana replied, "You're gonna have to ask Mike [Myers]... he's pretty busy, but yeah... I'd do it if they want."
The first Wayne’s World movie, which was developed from the Saturday Night Live sketch by Mike Myers and Dana Carvey, was a huge success and grossed almost $200m. However, the 1993 sequel Wayne’s World 2 did not receive the same praise as it’s 1992 original. Talk of a Wayne’s World 3 happening is just speculation and it is unlikely that Mike Myers would want to return to the role.
