Australian actor Hugh Jackman has been working in Hollywood for decades now and, while he has appeared in a lot of very impressive movies and given us some fantastic performances along the way, it is probably fair to say that he is going to be forever remembered for playing the role of Wolverine in the X-Men movie universe.

However, as many of you may already know, Hugh Jackman was once approached about playing the role of James Bond, back before the iconic character was taken on by Daniel Craig, who has become one of the best James Bond actors ever. With Hugh working so hard as Wolverine, he decided to turn down the role, as he wanted to make sure he still had time to work on other projects.
Jackman shared, "I was about to do ‘X-Men 2’ and a call came from my agent asking if I’d be interested in Bond. I just felt at the time that the scripts had become so unbelievable and crazy, and I felt like they needed to become grittier and real. And the response was: ‘Oh, you don’t get a say. You just have to sign on.’ I was also worried that between Bond and ‘X-Men,’ I’d never have time to do different things."

So, would Hugh Jackman have even been a good James Bond? Well we definitely have to go with yes. We have been impressed with what Daniel Craig has done with James Bond but we can't help but feel that with Hugh Jackman in those past few James Bond movies, they would have been even better than they already are.
