It seems that there is some confusion going on at the moment, in regards to the planned Nightwing movie that is beginning to take shape with Warner Bros and DC. While the project is still in the early stages of development, there have been plenty of fans who have been giving their opinions as to which actor should be cast in the lead role of Dick Grayson for the new film.
Well, there was recently an interview with music superstar Nick Jonas, where the wannabe actor was asked about the potential of taking on the role of Dick Grayson in the Nightwing movie, after a handful of fans decided to put his name forward. While there are clearly a few fans who, for some strange reason, would love to see Nick in the role, it seems that the majority of fans are well against it.
One disgruntled fan moaned, "Who are these people calling for Nick Jonas to star in Nightwing? Whoever they are they need to stop already. it would be the worst casting the DCEU has done so far and none of it has been particularly special." Meanwhile, another added, "HAHAHA!!! I just saw the Nick Jonas as Nightwing rumours. Someone is having a laugh right?."
As for the star himself, Nick Jonas has admitted that he would definitely be interested in playing Dick Grayson in Nightwing, should the opportunity actually arise. Unfortunately for Nick and his fan club, it is highly unlikely that he will actually have any chance of landing the role, as there are far better actors who are much more suited to the role.
