Following the success of the Man of Steel movie, it is pretty much a given that a Man of Steel sequel will be made. There is no doubt that Henry Cavill will return to play Clark Kent aka Superman and fans have called for Russell Crowe to reprise his role as Jor-El for Man of Steel 2.

Now, Russell Crowe has taken to his official Twitter account, to let his fans know that the decision is out of his hands and, if they want him back as Jor-El for Man of Steel 2, then they should make it known to Legendary Pictures, as they are the ones that have the power.
Crowe wrote, "A lot of you are asking about a KRYPTON prequel, if that's something you feel strongly about let @Legendary pictures know your thoughts." He also admitted that, if he was asked to reprise the role of Jor-El for Man of Steel 2, then he would gladly return to the role.

While some fans have suggested a Man of Steel prequel, it does seem very unlikely that, that's the route that will be taken. However, we are sure that there is definitely a way of getting Jor-El into the Man of Steel sequel.
