The Marvel Cinematic Universe is about to go through some big changes, following The Avengers 4, as we prepare to say goodbye to some of our favourite characters in the Marvel movies. Some of these stars have become best known for playing their Marvel character, with people only really talking about their involvement in that universe, although some of them are so much more than just that.
Actress Scarlett Johansson plays the role of Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and she has become very popular with the comic book movie fans, with many of them calling for a Black Widow solo movie, which looks very unlikely to happen now. However, Scarlett is one of the biggest and best actresses in the business and she has plenty of other projects lined up for the coming years.
As well as starring in the new movie Rough Night, Scarlett Johansson will also lend her voice to a character in the upcoming animated movie Isle of Dogs, which is due to open on March 23, 2018 in the US and March 30, 2018 in the UK. Meanwhile, Scarlett also has four new movies currently in development, with the planned project Summer Crossing expecting to have her on board as a director.
It is surprising that an actress as talented as Scarlett Johansson has not yet landed herself an Oscar nomination, something which will never happen in her role as Black Widow, but with so many new movie projects coming thick and fast every year, we have no doubt that Scarlett will eventually get herself an Academy Award nod in the future.
