Comic book movie fans have been disappointed with what Sony have been doing with Spider-Man for years now and the fans have called for the rights to go back to Marvel Studios, who have been doing a great job with their characters. Sony have now allowed Spider-Man to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Andrew Garfield no longer playing the character, so here we take a look at some of the actors being linked to the role.

Logan Lerman has been linked to the role
First up we have the former High School Musical actor Zac Efron, who has proven that there is so much more to his acting ability than just being a Disney star. Zac has taken on some very interesting roles over the past few years and has shown his diversity as an actor and we have no doubt that he would be able to do a great job as Spider-Man.
Next up we have Logan Lerman, who has been in the acting industry for many years now and has grown and developed his acting talent over the course of his career to date. Logan has taken on some big roles in the past and has not been phased by the expectation, so he will certainly know what to expect from taking on Spider-Man and would easily cope with the role.

Dylan O'Brien is also in the running
Finally we have the promising actor Dylan O'Brien, who has enjoyed a steady rise in Hollywood over the past few years, appearing in the television shows Teen Wolf, as well as starring in the movie The Maze Runner. There is no denying that Dylan is a very talented actor and it could be time for him to back that career changing role, as Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
